The YIT Foundation has partnered with The Orange County ( New York ) Historian, Johanna Porr Yuan Department to sponsor travelers and descendants to be a part of the Orange County Historian’s Centennial Delegation of New Yorkers to Belgium & France taking place from July 10th thru July 19th, 2023.  They will honor the sacrifices of the soldiers who fought and died with the 369th NY Infantry Regiment, also known as the Harlem Rattlers or the Harlem Hellfighters.  Although usually associated with New York City, in fact the 369th Regiment was also comprised of men who had joined at the recruiting stations throughout the Hudson Valley, such as Newburgh, Goshen, and Middletown NY. Your donation will help to cover the cost for those who are not able to pay their own way.
